Planning: The different types of artists and audience influences

Being able to work in a group and share ideas was really enjoyable during the process of the course. We had managed to give a new meaning to this powerful song, and I believe we as a group worked hard and gave it our best. The reason we chose to do Adele and this song was because it did not have a music video to itself, so this gave us more ideas and imagination of things we could use to make it stand out and truly reflect Adeles theme and character. One reason we chose the her was also because she is a strong artist and truly represents the music of today. The artist is listened to by global audiences of all ages and cultures, and was born in our hometown (Tottenham) which gives us and even more reason to represent her.
Overall the song choice I believe was strong, bold, and representative of todays music.

"Iman is a lovely student and was working hard with her coursework blog during the research stage but more recently Iman hasn't been posting work to the blog and is consequently falling behind. She has just 34 posts with only one piece of work submitted since 23rd October.  I encourage Iman to complete the targets for improvement set out below so that she is able to improve her posting to the blog and ultimately her mark for this aspect of the coursework, ensuring she attains an overall mark that is more reflective of her abilities in Media.

I completely understand where Louisa is coming from my blogging decreased significantly and I hope I have picked up my blogging pace now. I am now regularly blogging often and constantly asking for feedback to better my quality. Criticisms
only better you and this certainly has!

Planning:Final ideas and influence

After our cinema screening today I feel like we served this powerful song 'Set Fire to the Rain' justice. It was not easy replicated the lyrics into a music video as there was no original video, so we had literally a blank canvas to work with. This helped as we were able to let our imagnations free and have a clear vision of what exactly we wanted.However, there is always areas of improvement and I wish we would have followed Adele's dark colours by having a black white video instead. (It would have emphasised more emotion).
